Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) sveti vrh's Tihomir Gornik started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ilmin Čelan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dorjano Musek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Å abić's late challenge caught a sveti vrh's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Å abić helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Godovič's Ivan Å abić got a free kick in the 13th minute. After having played for 15 minutes, Omer Avsenik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. sveti vrh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omer Avsenik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, sveti vrh's Stanko Žak got control of the ball when Ivan Å abić tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute, Omer Avsenik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ivan Å abić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Ivan Å abić in the 26th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 27th match minute, sveti vrh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omer Avsenik to maneuver through the defense. Stanko Žak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nace Bradač, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 30 played minutes sveti vrh got a freekick which was hit by Omer Avsenik. Ivan Å abić struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Stanko Žak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Godovič. Dorjano Musek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tihomir Gornik's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. When Godovič's Nace Bradač in 36 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Stanko Žak guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After some careless play in the Godovič defense, Tihomir Gornik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorjano Musek. The Godovič fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorjano Musek should have stopped the shot. sveti vrh's Miodrag Kureš got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dorjano Musek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miodrag Kureš in the 44th minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Nermin Urbanič was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Godovič's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave sveti vrh the free kick. Nermin Urbanič hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the game, sveti vrh's Omer Avsenik nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dorjano Musek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nace Bradač stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Omer Avsenik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Simon Mohorčič received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Dorjano Musek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of sveti vrh booed when Godovič was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dražan Vindar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miodrag Kureš received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dorjano Musek came out and tried to block the shot, but Miodrag Kureš slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 69th minute. Godovič's Toma Jereb got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Miodrag Kureš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorjano Musek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanko Žak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Å abić in the 85th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded sveti vrh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Godovič.
