Spectators: 9263 (Terracing: 6949, Seating: 2130, VIP seats: 184) Mavro Primar started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Milovan Šolman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekirja Kunstelj having to interfere. Mavro Primar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aldin Prelog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekirja Kunstelj having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mavro Primar in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zekirja Kunstelj saved Slovenj Gradec from getting behind. Rade Zmrzlak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes of play, Slovenj Gradec's Theodor Trobina made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aita Zaplana was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Kasim Jakšić fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovenj Gradec's protests and gave Kasim Jakšić a yellow card for diving instead. Mavro Primar spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Slovenj Gradec's goal. The supporters of Slovenska Bistrica booed when Slovenj Gradec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amin Nedižavec didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mavro Primar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zekirja Kunstelj having to make a save. Andrijan Greiser fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekirja Kunstelj having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldin Prelog in the 39th minute of play forced Slovenj Gradec's goalkeeper Zekirja Kunstelj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Slovenska Bistrica's Vasilije Hromec in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovenj Gradec's goalie prevented a goal. Zekirja Kunstelj came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Slovenska Bistrica's Milovan Šolman. But to his dismay, Milovan Šolman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rade Zmrzlak to strike the kick off in the second half. Mavro Primar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zekirja Kunstelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Slovenska Bistrica's Milovan Šolman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zekirja Kunstelj narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Milovan Šolman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovenska Bistrica's supporters rose to their feet, but Milovan Šolman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zekirja Kunstelj breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aldin Prelog recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Mavro Primar came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Slovenska Bistrica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mavro Primar couldn't finish the play. After 62 minutes, Andrijan Greiser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovenska Bistrica and the Slovenj Gradec players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes Slovenska Bistrica got a freekick which was hit by Andrijan Greiser. Aldin Prelog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vasilije Hromec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Zekirja Kunstelj made a huge save. Milovan Šolman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekirja Kunstelj having to interfere. Aldin Prelog might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zekirja Kunstelj. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aldin Prelog ran back to his position shaking his head. Mavro Primar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mavro Primar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekirja Kunstelj having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Mavro Primar made a precise shot to the right of Zekirja Kunstelj. Slovenj Gradec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Zekirja Kunstelj made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Aldin Prelog sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute, Slovenj Gradec's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Milovan Šolman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 79th minute Slovenska Bistrica were awarded a corner. Lukasz Orling went to the cornerflag to take it. Lukasz Orling made a great header on Slovenska Bistrica's corner, it was just that Slovenj Gradec's Zekirja Kunstelj managed to reach the ball for a save. Milovan Šolman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zekirja Kunstelj having to interfere. Jusuf Luskar's late challenge caught a Slovenska Bistrica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jusuf Luskar helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Slovenj Gradec's Jusuf Luskar got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Slovenj Gradec's Zekirja Kunstelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carter Moscatelli in the 85th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Lukasz Orling sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Slovenj Gradec's Zekirja Kunstelj didn't even have to move. Aldin Prelog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Zekirja Kunstelj tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carter Moscatelli came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Slovenska Bistrica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carter Moscatelli couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Aldin Prelog got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Slovenska Bistrica played a much better game than Slovenj Gradec and deserved their victory. The Slovenj Gradec players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
