After a defensive mix-up in Godovič's zone, Theodor Trobina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorjano Musek came out of the goal and Theodor Trobina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ivan Šabić's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zekirja Kunstelj was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Godovič's Nermin Urbanič got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Zekirja Kunstelj made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Nermin Urbanič sent off a good shot on target. Nace Bradač sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Theodor Trobina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th match minute, Slovenj Gradec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rade Zmrzlak to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Theodor Trobina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Slovenj Gradec's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodor Trobina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorjano Musek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dorjano Musek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rade Zmrzlak in the 72nd minute of the match. Slovenj Gradec's Zekirja Kunstelj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nace Bradač in the 74th minute of play. Godovič's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
