The NK MONT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel França should have stopped the shot. Miguel França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alben Žerak in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alben Žerak in the 9th minute of play forced NK MONT's goalkeeper Miguel França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kasim Barič fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK Idrje's protests and gave Kasim Barič a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes NK Idrje got a freekick which was hit by Kasim Barič. When Kasim Barič was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, NK Idrje's Kasim Barič got a free kick in the 27th minute. After some careless play in the NK Idrje defense, Raphael De Lucca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurizio Majzelj. The NK Idrje fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurizio Majzelj should have stopped the shot. Raphael De Lucca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurizio Majzelj having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Raphael De Lucca got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mirando Pokovec sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alben Žerak hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Raphael De Lucca made the kick off in the second half. Oliver Terzić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Borko Srakar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes NK MONT got a freekick which was hit by Ervin Slana. Raphael De Lucca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurizio Majzelj having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, NK Idrje's goal looked a bit too open when Raphael De Lucca came free, but Maurizio Majzelj reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Miguel França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alben Žerak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. NK MONT's Miguel França proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save NK MONT from getting a goal against them. Hristofor Súrbev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurizio Majzelj having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind NK Idrje's goalkeeper Maurizio Majzelj, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nicholas Ercegović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th minute, Alben Jernejc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Raphael De Lucca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurizio Majzelj saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alben Žerak hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Raphael De Lucca came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the NK MONT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raphael De Lucca couldn't finish the play. NK MONT's Nicholas Ercegović got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. NK MONT fully deserved thier win.
