Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vjetko Omahne started the match with the kick off. If Siniša Debevec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Mario Alberto Kempes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Sergej Vrtačič fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lipica's protests and gave Sergej Vrtačič a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Lipica got a freekick which was hit by Sergej Vrtačič. 8 minutes into the game, Mario Alberto Kempes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Daš Megla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daš Megla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siniša Debevec in the 17th minute of play. Mario Alberto Kempes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute Mario Alberto Kempes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daš Megla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, FC Barcelona's Julian Chrzan got control of the ball when Žarko Nemanič tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 23rd minute, Lipica's Žarko Nemanič dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 28th minute Siniša Debevec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daš Megla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of FC Barcelona booed when Lipica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melvin Vorih didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Alberto Kempes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daš Megla having to make a save. Sergej Vrtačič kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Mario Alberto Kempes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daš Megla having to interfere. Daš Megla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siniša Debevec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Sebastian Cojan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daš Megla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siniša Debevec went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Lipica players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Barcelona were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Miguel Ángel Ortega made the kick off in the second half. Mario Alberto Kempes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Daš Megla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miguel Ángel Ortega who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Daš Megla when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 57th minute, Melvin Vorih hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daš Megla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siniša Debevec in the 60th minute of the match. Melvin Vorih charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melvin Vorih the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Melvin Vorih kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Mario Alberto Kempes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When FC Barcelona's Miguel Ángel Ortega in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lipica's goalie prevented a goal. 66 minutes into the game, Mario Alberto Kempes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daš Megla. Mario Alberto Kempes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Siniša Debevec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daš Megla having to interfere. Siniša Debevec recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Siniša Debevec managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Barcelona's supporters rose to their feet, but Siniša Debevec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daš Megla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Alberto Kempes struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Daš Megla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. 84 minutes in the game, Siniša Debevec fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Daš Megla having to interfere. A hard shot by Frits Melker from long distance, 87 minutes into the match, got Daš Megla's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mario Alberto Kempes struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Daš Megla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Barcelona. In the 91st minute, FC Barcelona's Sebastian Cojan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 99thth minute of the game Miguel Ángel Ortega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lipica's Daš Megla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded FC Barcelona left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lipica.
