Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ožbalt Ajdič in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Žika Borštnik prevented the ball from getting in the gole. NK FOLKROLA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John Melet in the 4th minute. John Melet made a great header on NK FOLKROLA's corner, it was just that Keksi Maribor's Žika Borštnik managed to reach the ball for a save. Ožbalt Ajdič sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Žika Borštnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Čerina, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Velislav Skenderski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Žika Borštnik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Melet in the 15th minute of play forced Keksi Maribor's goalkeeper Žika Borštnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian Borštner in the 16th minute of play forced NK FOLKROLA's goalkeeper Maurice Himschoot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of NK FOLKROLA booed when Keksi Maribor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Loboda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute of the match John Melet sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Žika Borštnik skillfully saved the ball. Žika Borštnik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodor Čerina in the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Pascual Pagomari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurice Himschoot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deni Širme's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 48th minute, Branislav Venika hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

NK FOLKROLA's Maurice Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Espiridion Dellasierra in the 56th minute of play. Žika Borštnik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ismael Roldanillo in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Ožbalt Ajdič shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Žika Borštnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Keksi Maribor's goal looked a bit too open when Lun Majstorović came free, but Žika Borštnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ožbalt Ajdič recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Keksi Maribor's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Roldanillo came free, but Žika Borštnik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NK FOLKROLA's Maurice Himschoot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Borštner in the 83rd minute of play. With a little luck, Keksi Maribor's Žika Borštnik got control of the ball when Ismael Roldanillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maurice Himschoot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Espiridion Dellasierra in the 95th minute of play. Many of NK FOLKROLA's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. NK FOLKROLA may have spent more time on the ball, but Keksi Maribor were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
