Spectators: 9649 (Terracing: 6975, Seating: 2488, VIP seats: 186) Keksi Maribor's Maximilian Borštner started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Maximilian Borštner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keksi Maribor's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximilian Borštner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cveto Novinec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FC Koper's Orlando Sasoin got a free kick in the 11th minute. Cveto Novinec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Espiridion Dellasierra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Slawomir Brysz hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Maximilian Borštner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Keksi Maribor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximilian Borštner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Slawomir Brysz in the 15th minute of play forced Keksi Maribor's goalkeeper Žika Borštnik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cveto Novinec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Borštner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Espiridion Dellasierra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cveto Novinec quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Gilberto Loboda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keksi Maribor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Loboda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cveto Novinec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Slawomir Brysz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Žika Borštnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Keksi Maribor's Žika Borštnik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Keksi Maribor from getting a goal against them. Cveto Novinec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Borštner in the 31st minute of the match. The corner ended in Milisav Lovrec almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Koper's Cveto Novinec did a great save. Keksi Maribor's Žika Borštnik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Slawomir Brysz in the 37th minute of play. Slawomir Brysz had several of the Keksi Maribor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Žika Borštnik as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cveto Novinec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deni Širme in the 41st minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, FC Koper's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilian Borštner came free, but Cveto Novinec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cveto Novinec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximilian Borštner in the 51st minute of the match. FC Koper's Cveto Novinec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Borštner in the 55th minute of play. After 56 minutes FC Koper's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Espiridion Dellasierra who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Vilibald Primar at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FC Koper. 1-2. In the 61st minute of the match Vilibald Primar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cveto Novinec showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Espiridion Dellasierra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slawomir Brysz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Žika Borštnik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Žika Borštnik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slawomir Brysz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Maximilian Borštner kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Keksi Maribor's Espiridion Dellasierra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cveto Novinec narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximilian Borštner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cveto Novinec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Keksi Maribor's Vilibald Primar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cveto Novinec. That made the score 1-4 after 83 minutes of play. In the 86th match minute, FC Koper was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Mantu to maneuver through the defense. Cveto Novinec had great luck who in the 88thth minute grab hold of the ball when Maximilian Borštner from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Cveto Novinec made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Espiridion Dellasierra sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilberto Loboda during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilberto Loboda hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Keksi Maribor played a much better game than FC Koper and deserved their victory. The FC Koper players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
