Spectators: 8850 (Terracing: 7000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Muharem Senčar started the match with the kick off. YellowStone's Muharem Senčar got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 minutes of play, YellowStone's Tobi Festersen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konstantin Pančur was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Štefan Gorenc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Konstantin Pančur. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. With a little luck, HIT Gorica's Konstantin Pančur got control of the ball when Muharem Senčar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, HIT Gorica's Zlatko Goričan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erik Berglund made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Konstantin Pančur made an important save on a dangerous shot by Muharem Senčar in the 24th minute. After a defensive mix-up in HIT Gorica's zone, Muharem Senčar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantin Pančur came out of the goal and Muharem Senčar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Branimir Turk during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Branimir Turk kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Duško Turnšek made a precise shot to the right of Erik Berglund. YellowStone's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. YellowStone's Erik Berglund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duško Turnšek in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antoni Zdrojewski in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When Antoni Zdrojewski came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the HIT Gorica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antoni Zdrojewski couldn't finish the play. After 54 minutes of play YellowStone's Branimir Turk was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Konstantin Pančur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobi Festersen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobi Festersen in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Konstantin Pančur saved HIT Gorica from getting behind. Antoni Zdrojewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Berglund having to interfere. HIT Gorica made a substitution. Rastislav Tomič replaced Jernej Petrovič. YellowStone made a substitution. Jožef Giovani replaced Mitija Artnak. HIT Gorica's Istok Šabotić was substituted for Duško Turnšek. Konstantin Pančur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobi Festersen went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verjano Čižman in the 87th minute of play forced HIT Gorica's goalkeeper Konstantin Pančur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Istok Šabotić took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Erik Berglund to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Istok Šabotić in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The HIT Gorica supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing HIT Gorica would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
