Angered BK's Mats Wästerberg got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Önnestad FK's zone, Mats Wästerberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Landin came out of the goal and Mats Wästerberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 26 minutes into the match, Mats Wästerberg notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Önnestad FK's August Landin. August Landin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Martin Törnblom charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Törnblom the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Angered BK getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gunnar Ahlbom hit a great ball. Victor Knutsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without August Landin having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Önnestad FK got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Erik Burman. Mats Wästerberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Önnestad FK getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Josef Ekegren hit a great ball. Victor Knutsson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 47th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Martin Törnblom made the kick off in the second half. Mats Wästerbergs short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got August Landin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 52nd minute, Birger Ahlström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Angered BK's Hugo Boman got a free kick in the 61st minute. Victor Knutsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but August Landin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Roland Kilstedt lost his temper 76 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martin Törnblom in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viktor Hägg saved Angered BK from getting behind. Folke Ahlström kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. After 81 played minutes, Önnestad FK's Sven-Oskar Kvarnström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Viktor Hägg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Önnestad FK reached it. Michael Pihlblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mats Wästerberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute.
