Jan-Ove Brun started the match with the kick off. Verner Jernberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Dias in the 8th minute of the match. Kacper Waselewicz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Verner Jernberg having to interfere. Pirates of the Carabian's Verner Jernberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Pirates of the Carabian from getting a goal against them. When Pirates of the Carabian's Ludvig Johnsson in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd match minute, Pirates of the Carabian was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilbert Felin to maneuver through the defense. William Ström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, FC Football's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Ove Brun came free, but William Ström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredo Dias to make the kick off. Jan-Ove Brun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but William Ström made a huge save. In the 55th minute, FC Football's August Bergstedt seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed August Bergstedt the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC Football protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and August Bergstedt had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Football! The goalkeeper, William Ström, was totally fooled by Pirates of the Carabian's Ludvig Johnsson, who 56 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 60 minutes in the game, Ludvig Johnsson fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without William Ström having to interfere. Jan-Ove Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. William Ström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Christoffer Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pirates of the Carabian's Ludvig Johnsson got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, FC Football's goalkeeper William Ström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Ove Brun. Ludvig Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Football's William Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludvig Johnsson in the 80th minute of play. Jan-Ove Brun scored 1-4 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of William Ström, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, FC Football's William Ström got control of the ball when Jan-Ove Brun tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Football's William Ström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christopher Sjö in the 87th minute of play. FC Football's William Ström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save FC Football from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FC Football's zone, Ludvig Johnsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Ström came out of the goal and Ludvig Johnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pirates of the Carabian's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
