The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Kurt Pålsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. Håbol If's Marcus Caspersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Håbol If from getting a goal against them. After 7 played minutes Håbol If got a freekick which was hit by Tim Pedersson. Angered FF's Yan Machado managed to work through Håbol If's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Yan Machado dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 9th match minute, Angered FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Willig to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Yan Machado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcus Caspersson. Håbol If's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yan Machado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Håbol If's Leo Nyberg got a free kick in the 16th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Håbol If's goalkeeper Marcus Caspersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Machado. George Finman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Ernst Billvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute Ernst Billvall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Andreescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Angered FF's Olof Ennegren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Caspersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Ernst Billvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Willig, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 60th minute, Ernst Billvall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tim Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 63 minutes into the game, Håbol If's Tim Pedersson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Andreescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Leo Nyberg hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Marcus Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edvard Willig, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Angered FF's Ingvar Jönsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Caspersson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Olof Ennegren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. Håbol If's Marcus Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yan Machado in the 81st minute of play. Marcus Caspersson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edvard Willig went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Angered FF's attentive Ingvar Jönsson managed to snatch the ball when Feliks Pazura made a throw-in in the 91st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingvar Jönsson in the 92nd minute of play forced Håbol If's goalkeeper Marcus Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernst Billvall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Andreescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. Marcus Caspersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yan Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Angered FF were victorious despite being under pressure from Håbol If for much of the match.
