After a rather tough play, Biggest Loser's Ludvig Almstedt got a free kick in the 29th minute. Karl-Erik Hagström hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Max Speelman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Everest booed when Biggest Loser was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl-Axel Bäcklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Speelman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joachim Ekerot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Birger Linberg got free with Joachim Ekerot in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Max Speelman might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joachim Ekerot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Max Speelman to make the kick off. For all the effort they put into the match, the Biggest Loser players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Everest.
