Ernesto de Alcântara might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars-Erik Svartengren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto de Alcântara ran back to his position shaking his head. After 13 played minutes amz got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Björkkvist. Lars-Erik Svartengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto de Alcântara's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. Lars-Erik Svartengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Björkkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st match minute, Glommens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan-Åke Svanström to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of amz booed when Glommens IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Kollberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Glommens IF's Gert Kollberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcus Gustafsson, made in the 25th minute of the game. Lars-Erik Svartengren came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by amz's Ernesto de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Ernesto de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 34th minute, Christian Kollberg ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lars-Erik Svartengren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Holger Björkqvist made in the 38th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Fritz Palmkvist. Lars-Erik Svartengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernesto de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lars-Erik Svartengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 48th minute Ernesto de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars-Erik Svartengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Bror Engström sped through amz's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olle Mattsson. The crowd rose to their feet as Ernesto de Alcântara kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lars-Erik Svartengren. That made the score 1-3 in the 59 minute of play. Ernesto de Alcântara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars-Erik Svartengren having to interfere. But to his dismay, Christian Kollberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Lars-Erik Svartengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Björkkvist in the 71st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as amz's Johannes Björkkvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lars-Erik Svartengren. That made the score 1-5 after 75 minutes of play. Christian Kollberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Ernesto de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glommens IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Ernesto de Alcântara scored to the left of an out of position Lars-Erik Svartengren, making the score, 1-6. In the 93rd match minute, Glommens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elof Tidéksson to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the game, Christian Kollberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. amz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glommens IF the free kick. In the 96th minute, Christian Kollberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Glommens IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching amz's performance. The match ended with a win for amz.
