In the 19thth minute of the game Axel Gadd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olofströms AIF's Anthon Eklund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arne Kvarnström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Fransson having to interfere. Andreas Malm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Christian Fransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Gusum IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Kvarnström came free, but Christian Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Gadd couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Gadd in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anthon Eklund saved Olofströms AIF from getting behind. Folke Örtlund hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. If Axel Gadd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthon Eklund made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Edgar Lustig sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute Axel Gadd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anthon Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
