With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eric Magnusson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roknäs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Nils Alebeck scored to the left of an out of position Börje Olofsson, making the score, 1-0. Börje Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Wiman in the 21st minute of play. Josef Wiman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Börje Olofsson having to interfere. Anthon Löfkvist hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Roknäs's Bengt Britz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eric Magnusson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
