Gonzalo Xabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniele Fiori, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Önnestad's Bertil Mickelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Adamczak in the 44th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Petter Lindholm had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bertil Mickelsson. Önnestad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Lindholm was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Önnestad fans' excitement grew in the 56th match minute when Önnestad's Daniele Fiori looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniele Fiori received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Gonzalo Xabel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sverker Rolfsson hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Evandro Aguiar sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonzalo Xabel skillfully saved the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniele Fiori in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gonzalo Xabel saved Lokomotiv FC from getting behind. If Carlos Costante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlos Costante took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bertil Mickelsson. Bertil Mickelsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Gonzalo Xabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Fiori in the 83rd minute of play. Emil Adamczak succeeded in the game's 85th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-5. In the 87th match minute, Lokomotiv FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sverker Rolfsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 90th minute, Daniele Fiori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lokomotiv FC played a much better game than Önnestad and deserved their victory. The Önnestad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
