If Ludwig Ahlquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 17 minutes, Ludwig Ahlquist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gäddede BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ludwig Ahlquist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Sture Hjälm came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Gäddede BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sture Hjälm couldn't finish the play. Michel Blomqvist made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Ludwig Ahlquist sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Österfärnebo IF getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nils-Åke Brovall hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Jonas Västerberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Arvidsson in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Linberg saved Gäddede BK from getting behind. The supporters of Gäddede BK booed when Österfärnebo IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Grubb didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esbjörn Linberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ludwig Näfver, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Sture Hjälm fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gäddede BK's protests and gave Sture Hjälm a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Sture Hjälm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Österfärnebo IF booed when Gäddede BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sture Hjälm didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Gösta Ahlroht was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Österfärnebo IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gäddede BK the free kick. After 42 played minutes Österfärnebo IF got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Ahlroht. In the 46th minute, George Arvidsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Österfärnebo IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when George Arvidsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sture Hjälm was shown his second yellow card after 55 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. George Arvidsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Österfärnebo IF's Michel Blomqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludwig Ahlquist in the 81st minute of play. George Arvidsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Esbjörn Linberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee ignored Gäddede BK's protests and gave Viggo Ekerot a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gäddede BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! George Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esbjörn Linberg having to interfere. Österfärnebo IF's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
