After having played for 38 minutes, Bo-Erik Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blixtens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo-Erik Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After having played for 56 minutes, Bo-Erik Nilsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blixtens BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo-Erik Nilsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blixtens BK were furious when Bo Enegren was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 59th minute, one of Blixtens BK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blixtens BK. Mehmet Arif Tuncel walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 67th minute of the match Blixtens BK got a corner. Helsingborg IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kjell-Arne Johansson ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Kjell-Arne Johansson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Helsingborg IF's Helge Hagberg did a great save. Blixtens BK's Algot Nyman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Blixtens BK from getting a goal against them. Yngve Albohm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helge Hagberg having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Blixtens BK's goalkeeper Algot Nyman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivar Hedberg. Reine Nilsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Helge Hagberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Helsingborg IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Söderberg to maneuver through the defense. Helge Hagberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Melander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute of the match Ian Vester shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Helge Hagberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Helsingborg IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
