Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Watchraphan Ratanaprapanporn got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Elfsborg's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Cane came free, but Arne Aspengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Alvin Cane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arne Aspengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvin Cane in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arne Aspengren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 19 minutes of play, Bruzaholm RK's Alvin Cane made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arne Aspengren was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jim Torsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Bruzaholm RK's Brian Kilberg got a free kick in the 25th minute. Jim Torsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Arne Aspengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Östen Lindgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Watchraphan Ratanaprapanporn in the 30th minute of the match. In the 33rd minute, Emiliano Sandalio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elfsborg fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 38th minute, Jonathan Vallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruzaholm RK's Jim Torsberg managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Tomas Svensson in the 39 minute of the game. Elfsborg's Arne Aspengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Cane in the 43rd minute of play. Ted Bergdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Aspengren having to interfere. Arne Aspengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Cane's shot from short distance in the 46th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alvin Cane stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arne Aspengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Bergdal in the 54th minute of play. Alvin Cane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arne Aspengren having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvin Cane got free with Arne Aspengren in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Watchraphan Ratanaprapanporn in the 65th minute of play forced Bruzaholm RK's goalkeeper Östen Lindgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arne Aspengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jim Torsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, Elfsborg's goalkeeper Arne Aspengren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Ahlroth. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruzaholm RK's Ted Bergdal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arne Aspengren. That made the score 1-5 after 75 minutes of play. Östen Lindgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Sandalio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Arne Aspengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvin Cane went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Alvin Cane reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arne Aspengren. The goal made the score 1-7. Bruzaholm RK's Jim Torsberg got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvin Cane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Elfsborg fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bruzaholm RK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
