Jens-Ola Classon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edvard Nordström having to make a save. Kenneth Lundin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 21 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Eddis FC got a freekick which was hit by Kenneth Lundin. In the 24th minute Jens-Erik Deckberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Åke Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Isaac Igelström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvard Nordström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Eddis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Stig Lindsten came free, but Nils-Åke Tunberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddis FC's Nils-Åke Tunberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Eddis FC from getting a goal against them. But to his dismay, Jens-Ola Classon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jens-Ola Classon made a kick off. Nils-Åke Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jens-Erik Deckberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eddis FC's Nils-Åke Tunberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Deckberg in the 57th minute of play. Nils-Åke Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Palmquist in the 58th minute of the match. Isaac Igelström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 66 minutes, Stig Lindsten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valsjöbyn IFK and the Eddis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Eddis FC booed when Valsjöbyn IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Lindsten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edvard Nordström made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Jens-Ola Classon sent off a good shot on target. Nils-Åke Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Lindsten in the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Valsjöbyn IFK's Leo Åkerman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Åke Tunberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd match minute, Eddis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tage Persson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 97 minutes, Isaac Igelström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eddis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Igelström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Valsjöbyn IFK failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
