Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when John Kinnman took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 11th minute Dag Alegren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Oskar Ekström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Konrad Engman in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lars Bogren saved TeaMax from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dag Alegren in the 26th minute of play forced Älta IK's goalkeeper Sven-Oskar Ekström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dag Alegren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 30 minutes, Bror Hellsing mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Älta IK and the TeaMax players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Älta IK's Bror Hellsing got a free kick in the 30th minute. With an all-out effort, TeaMax's Sven-Oskar Ekström threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ragnar Andreasson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Bror Hellsing was shown his second yellow card after 35 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bror Hellsing kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Dag Alegren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Oskar Ekström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dag Alegren made a kick off. Älta IK's Daniel Beck was substituted for Per-Arne Odén. Ragnar Andreasson hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Sven-Oskar Ekström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ragnar Andreasson in the 58th minute of the match. Dag Alegren might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven-Oskar Ekström. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dag Alegren ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Älta IK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Otto Åberg hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Älta IK's goal looked a bit too open when Dag Alegren came free, but Sven-Oskar Ekström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Älta IK getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tim Almstedt hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olle Qvalfeldt during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of TeaMax booed when Älta IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olle Qvalfeldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars Bogren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 71st match minute, TeaMax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esbjörn Stålberg to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Älta IK defense, Dag Alegren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Oskar Ekström. The Älta IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Oskar Ekström should have stopped the shot. Ragnar Andreasson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Sven-Oskar Ekström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dag Alegren, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute, Dag Alegren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89th minute of the game Eddie Nyman made a throw-in which Otto Åberg played forward. 90 minutes into the game, Karl-Magnus Morat threw the ball into play from the sideline. Älta IK's Otto Åberg quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 94 minutes, Dag Alegren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TeaMax and the Älta IK players grew even worse after the yellow card. There was no doubt that TeaMax were the better team. TeaMax's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
