Sven Asserlind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Åke Lindqvist in the 3rd minute. Marcus Dalström's late challenge caught a FC South Park's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Dalström helped the player get up and apologised. Askersund RK's Sven Asserlind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Rosenslør in the 7th minute of play. Stig-Åke Lindqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of Sven Asserlind when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Åke Lindqvist got free with Sven Asserlind in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sven Asserlind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Ekrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Felix Kämpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stellan Lundgren having to interfere. If Wolfgang Rosenslør had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC South Park's zone, Felix Kämpe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stellan Lundgren came out of the goal and Felix Kämpe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludvig Norberg during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes Askersund RK got a freekick which was hit by Ludvig Norberg. Stig-Åke Lindqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Sven Asserlind skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ludvig Norberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th match minute, Askersund RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Kämpe to maneuver through the defense. Askersund RK's Sven Asserlind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Askersund RK from getting a goal against them. 1-0 became the score in the 37th minute when Stig-Åke Lindqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stig-Åke Lindqvist made a kick off. After 56 minutes, Stig-Åke Lindqvist made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Askersund RK's Sven Asserlind tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Joensson in the 59th minute of play forced FC South Park's goalkeeper Stellan Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Lindqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Asserlind. Askersund RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Åke Lindqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Stig-Åke Lindqvist scored 4-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sven Asserlind, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sven Asserlind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig-Åke Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Åke Lindqvist in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven Asserlind saved Askersund RK from getting behind. Jörgen Ekrot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Asserlind having to interfere. Stig-Åke Lindqvist struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sven Asserlind didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC South Park. Jonny Strömberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Askersund RK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Lindqvist came free, but Sven Asserlind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Lindqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven Asserlind. Askersund RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Åke Lindqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 96th minute, Stig-Åke Lindqvist made a precise shot to the right of Sven Asserlind. Askersund RK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. There was no doubt that FC South Park were the better team. FC South Park's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
