Wictor Kullander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig-Åke Dahlgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ryan Watkinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Hermansson having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Göran Möller managed to get in a good position for a shot. RÖ BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Göran Möller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Hermansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Chorche Guarnizo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Göran Möller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute Knut Åberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wictor Kullander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from 严源威 in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RÖ BK's Evert Adelsköld. Christer Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Göran Möller in the 34th minute of play. RÖ BK's Wictor Kullander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save RÖ BK from getting a goal against them. Göran Möller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Christer Hermansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ludomir Kasiewski was the one to do the kick off. RÖ BK's Wictor Kullander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomir Kasiewski in the 54th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göran Möller during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Göran Möller hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Harry Lövkvist made a precise shot to the right of Wictor Kullander. RÖ BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Christer Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Möllgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Möllgren in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Hermansson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. RÖ BK's Martin Möllgren came free and shot a quick shot against goal 73 minutes in the game, fortunately Christer Hermansson had problems saving as it came toward the left post.
