Nils-Emil Billing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Thorsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Almén IF's Karl-Magnus Bengtsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfons Britz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wasyl Tomporowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Nils-Emil Billing made a huge save. Skälvik BK's Alfons Britz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Olof Lindell in the 36th minute of play. Karl-Magnus Bengtsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfons Britz having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

A collision led to Almén IF getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Mats Hägg hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Wasyl Tomporowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Billing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nils-Emil Billing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Thorsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute.
