After a defensive mix-up in Ärla RK's zone, Emil Rydberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Wallin came out of the goal and Emil Rydberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marko Bohlin fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Råda IF's protests and gave Marko Bohlin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ärla RK booed when Råda IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marko Bohlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Grönberg kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Sten Markusson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Folke Johansson's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Tor Wallmark kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. When Nils-Åke Kråk fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Råda IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ärla RK the free kick. After 29 minutes, Folke Johansson made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Råda IF's Sten Markusson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ärla RK's Ted Wallin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Ärla RK from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Emil Rydberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zacarias Tonio during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Råda IF booed when Ärla RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Tonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Andreas Brodin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Folke Johansson was the one to do the kick off. Ted Wallin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sören Mellberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Sören Mellberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ted Wallin having to make a save. The Råda IF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ärla RK's performance. The match ended with a win for Ärla RK.
