Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mats Grep in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ole Paskinel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Nissafors FF's Ludwig Runberg got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kåre Löfskog in the 24th minute of play forced Nissafors FF's goalkeeper Jan Pil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ole Paskinel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Elg in the 26th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Mats Grep made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Barcelona's Ole Paskinel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerry Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pil having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Nissafors FF's Ole Paskinel threw himself towards the right post 41 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mats Grep, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 46 minutes into the match, FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Ole Paskinel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ola Drewitz.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mats Grep stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerry Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pil having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Barcelona's zone, Mats Grep stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ole Paskinel came out of the goal and Mats Grep tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nissafors FF's Ola Drewitz got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Barcelona defense, Henry Elg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ole Paskinel. The FC Barcelona fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ole Paskinel should have stopped the shot. After 72 minutes of play FC Barcelona's Vilhelm Lind was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Barcelona's Vilhelm Lind got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jerry Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Pil having to interfere. Henry Elg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ole Paskinel having to make a save. A sloppy throw-in by Tommy Viberg in the 83rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Barcelona's Kjell Petersson.
