With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stig-Ove Möllgren in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Blom saved Eskilstuna FTK from getting behind. A collision led to Talangens BK getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Bertil Helström hit a great ball. Matthias Åhman made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Charlie Abrahamsson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Eskilstuna FTK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Uno Juhlin hit a great ball. Uno Juhlin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Matthias Åhman made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Möllgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talangens BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eskilstuna FTK the free kick. Matthias Åhman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Caspersson in the 18th minute of the match. Martin Blom came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Talangens BK's Stig-Ove Möllgren. But to his dismay, Stig-Ove Möllgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pedro Aresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig-Ove Möllgren got his second yellow card in the match during the 28th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 28 played minutes Talangens BK got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Ove Möllgren. With a little luck, Talangens BK's Matthias Åhman got control of the ball when Charlie Abrahamsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dan Caspersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthias Åhman made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Charlie Abrahamsson sent off a good shot on target. After 40 minutes of play, Talangens BK's Alfred Thidén made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Blom was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Charlie Abrahamsson came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Eskilstuna FTK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charlie Abrahamsson couldn't finish the play. Bertil Helström was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the game, one of Talangens BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Charlie Abrahamsson shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After the first half Talangens BK were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedro Aresti made a kick off. Talangens BK's Matthias Åhman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uno Juhlin in the 56th minute of play. Matthias Åhman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charlie Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Eskilstuna FTK's Uno Juhlin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthias Åhman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 82nd minute, Uno Juhlin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talangens BK's Matthias Åhman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Caspersson in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute of the match Eskilstuna FTK got a corner. Talangens BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charlie Abrahamsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Charlie Abrahamsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matthias Åhman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matthias Åhman came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by Eskilstuna FTK's Charlie Abrahamsson. But to his dismay, Charlie Abrahamsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
