Cayetano Ikatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristo Kaldur having to interfere. Kristo Kaldur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Bagge, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kimstad's Kristo Kaldur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Ikatz in the 29th minute of play. Kristo Kaldur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from August Bagge went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of AC Milan booed when Kimstad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilbert Svartengren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingmar Ekeberg's late challenge caught a AC Milan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ingmar Ekeberg helped the player get up and apologised. Cayetano Ikatz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cayetano Ikatz was the one to do the kick off. When August Bagge came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the AC Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that August Bagge couldn't finish the play. 53 minutes into the match, AC Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Ragnar Hultman came free, but Iordache Encea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, AC Milan's Iordache Encea got control of the ball when Gilbert Svartengren tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kimstad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that August Bagge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 89th minute Cayetano Ikatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristo Kaldur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
