Per Olsson started the match with the kick off. Max Dusett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 4th minute, one of Red Devils JR:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Red Devils JR. 9 minutes into the game, Max Dusett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Banana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Devils JR the free kick. When Holger Ekelund came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Red Devils JR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Holger Ekelund couldn't finish the play. Johnny Hallgren made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Paul Gerdberg sent off a good shot on target. After 14 played minutes Red Devils JR got a freekick which was hit by Simon Österlund. 17 minutes into the match, Red Devils JR's goal looked a bit too open when Max Dusett came free, but Johnny Hallgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Red Devils JR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Österlund to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Dan Hård reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Johnny Hallgren. The goal made the score 3-0. A collision led to Red Devils JR getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Eskil Tinglöf hit a great ball. In the 46th minute of the match, Paul Gerdberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Johnny Hallgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Víctor Valles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Kielberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dan Hård made the kick off in the second half. Víctor Valles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Holger Ekelund in the 51st minute. After 51 played minutes Real Banana got a freekick which was hit by Paul Gerdberg. If Per Olsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johnny Hallgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Bjursell in the 67th minute of the match. In the 77th match minute, Red Devils JR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per Olsson to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Red Devils JR booed when Real Banana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Max Dusett didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Bäckman charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Christian Bäckman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Real Banana's Christian Bäckman got a free kick in the 86th minute. Víctor Valles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefan Bolander in the 87th minute. Red Devils JR's Emanuel Hjortberg suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Holger Ekelund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Víctor Valles having to interfere. Red Devils JR's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
