The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ingvar Lövgren struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Karl-Erik Kalfhage didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mastodon United. In the 14th minute, Gabriel Drake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Lindgren kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. FC Svartåfors's Karl-Erik Kalfhage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Mattsson in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, FC Svartåfors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gabriel Drake to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Svartåfors's Gabriel Drake got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Ingvar Lövgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ingvar Lövgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Karl-Erik Kalfhage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl-Erik Kalfhage came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Mastodon United's Ingvar Lövgren. But to his dismay, Ingvar Lövgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. FC Svartåfors's Karl-Erik Kalfhage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Jonasson in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Mastodon United's goalkeeper Sven-Åke Lundberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Drake. Karl-Erik Kalfhage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Lövgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, FC Svartåfors's goal looked a bit too open when Jarl Eklund came free, but Karl-Erik Kalfhage reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Erik Kalfhage showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingvar Lövgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. With a little luck, Mastodon United's Sven-Åke Lundberg got control of the ball when Emil Brenner tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Karl-Erik Kalfhage stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Lövgren's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Karl-Erik Kalfhage showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarl Eklund in the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Svartåfors's zone, Ingvar Lövgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Erik Kalfhage came out of the goal and Ingvar Lövgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the game, Max Mattsson lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Karl-Erik Kalfhage. Karl-Erik Kalfhage didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 66th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Jarl Eklund took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Karl-Erik Kalfhage to make any attempt to save it. Ingvar Lövgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Kalfhage having to interfere. Per-Erik Mikaelsson was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. 81 minutes in the game Albin Finsberg got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Max Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oskar Myhr hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Sven-Åke Lundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Brenner in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, FC Svartåfors's Karl-Erik Kalfhage got control of the ball when Ingvar Lövgren tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Mastodon United could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Svartåfors throughout the match.
