Gullringen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Hjortberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 28th match minute, Gullringen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Vallander to maneuver through the defense. Erik Hjortberg scored 1-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gösta Palm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Feoktist Zabludovskiy kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Feoktist Zabludovskiy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feoktist Zabludovskiy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Hjortberg in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gösta Palm prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erik Hjortberg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gullringen's zone, Arne Hedlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Palm came out of the goal and Arne Hedlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Sture Hjortberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57th minute, argentina's Erik Hjortberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The audience was convinced that Charles Arenstedt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gert Thorsberg was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Gösta Palm came out of the goal and Feoktist Zabludovskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gösta Palm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Hjortberg in the 82nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Erik Hjortberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gösta Palm was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 86th minute Villiam Molin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gert Thorsberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feoktist Zabludovskiy charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Feoktist Zabludovskiy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, argentina's Feoktist Zabludovskiy got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gert Thorsberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Molin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gullringen's Gösta Palm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Hjortberg in the 92nd minute of play. The Gullringen fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. argentina were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
