Ture Skräddare's late challenge caught a Bruksingarna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ture Skräddare helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bruksingarna booed when Downs...syndrom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Skräddare didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bror Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Peter Albom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Downs...syndrom's Jack Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Målare in the 17th minute of play. Edwin Västerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dick Åhman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dick Åhman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sune Busk in the 24th minute. 27 minutes in the game, Sune Busk fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dick Åhman having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bror Mattsson in the 33rd minute of play forced Downs...syndrom's goalkeeper Jack Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bror Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Modig having to interfere. Bror Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edwin Västerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Downs...syndrom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Busk to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Bror Mattsson in the 54th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Edwin Västerberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Downs...syndrom's supporters rose to their feet, but Edwin Västerberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dick Åhman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 64th minute, Valter Målare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jack Modig was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a little luck, Downs...syndrom's Jack Modig got control of the ball when Valter Målare tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Dick Löfgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bruksingarna's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Downs...syndrom the free kick. In the 70th minute, Dick Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Bruksingarna's zone, Sune Busk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dick Åhman came out of the goal and Sune Busk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valter Målare might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jack Modig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valter Målare ran back to his position shaking his head. Downs...syndrom's Jack Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Mattsson in the 78th minute of play. When Downs...syndrom's Edwin Västerberg in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Valter Målare came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Bruksingarna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valter Målare couldn't finish the play. When Bruksingarna's Bror Mattsson in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Downs...syndrom's goalie prevented a goal. If Bror Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Downs...syndrom fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bruksingarna were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
