Klas Pil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Erik Wahlnäs in the 3rd minute of the match. Vincent Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arvid Ryberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Vincent Paulin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 12 minutes into the match, Vittaryd RK's Stellan Wallin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincent Paulin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klas Pil didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andreas Hellgren went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the match, Lars-Erik Lindberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Teknikbanken Senators FF's Vincent Paulin. Vincent Paulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Per-Erik Wahlnäs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mattias Wallman lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After a rather tough play, Vittaryd RK's Joar Skager got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute Christer Danielsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klas Pil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 42 minutes, Fredric Brovall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vittaryd RK and the Teknikbanken Senators FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vittaryd RK getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Fredric Brovall hit a great ball. Vincent Paulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lindberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Per-Erik Wahlnäs sped through Vittaryd RK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Klas Pil. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fredric Brovall to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Teknikbanken Senators FF's Sven-Ove Näfver got a free kick in the 56th minute. After 57 played minutes, Vittaryd RK's Dan Bammerman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vincent Paulin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vittaryd RK reached it. After some careless play in the Teknikbanken Senators FF defense, Lars-Erik Lindberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vincent Paulin. The Teknikbanken Senators FF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vincent Paulin should have stopped the shot. Vincent Paulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lars-Erik Lindberg went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Vittaryd RK's zone, Viggo Galle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klas Pil came out of the goal and Viggo Galle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Arvid Ryberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vincent Paulin. Teknikbanken Senators FF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arvid Ryberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. If Edwin Henriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vincent Paulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arvid Ryberg in the 79th minute of play. Klas Pil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Erik Wahlnäs in the 81st minute of play. Vittaryd RK's Klas Pil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Erik Wahlnäs in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vittaryd RK's zone, Jon Myhr stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Klas Pil came out of the goal and Jon Myhr tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 minutes of play, Vittaryd RK's Arvid Ryberg made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Paulin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Klas Pil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Erik Wahlnäs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Per-Erik Wahlnäs came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Teknikbanken Senators FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Erik Wahlnäs couldn't finish the play. Edwin Henriksson struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Klas Pil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teknikbanken Senators FF. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Vittaryd RK were victorious despite being under pressure from Teknikbanken Senators FF for much of the match.
