Lekeryd's Lennart Alfors got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, Hällingsjö FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Åkerman came free, but Karl-Åke Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute Bo Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hällingsjö FK's Isac Ennegren got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Bo Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Åke Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Egon Örtendal in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Åke Andreasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Karl-Åke Andreasson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Brodin's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Karl-Åke Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egon Örtendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the game, Bo Brodin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Karl-Åke Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bo Brodin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karl-Åke Andreasson having to make a save. Hällingsjö FK's Karl-Åke Andreasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egon Örtendal in the 31st minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Hällingsjö FK's goal looked a bit too open when Egon Örtendal came free, but Karl-Åke Andreasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Bo Brodin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl-Åke Andreasson. Hällingsjö FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bo Brodin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Lennart Alfors might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karl-Åke Andreasson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lennart Alfors ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 39th minute, Rickard Åkerman made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Åke Andreasson. Hällingsjö FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 43rd minute, Bo Brodin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Åke Andreasson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bo Brodin in the 45th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Bo Brodin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Karl-Åke Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Lekeryd were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bo Brodin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Lekeryd's Egon Örtendal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Lennart Alfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Åke Andreasson having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Ingmar Lind hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Egon Örtendal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hällingsjö FK's Karl-Åke Andreasson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Hällingsjö FK from getting a goal against them. Ingmar Lind got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 64 played minutes Hällingsjö FK got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Lind. If Rickard Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lekeryd made a substitution. Arne Vallmark replaced Bo Brodin. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hällingsjö FK's goalkeeper Karl-Åke Andreasson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Wikander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Karl-Åke Andreasson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rickard Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Rickard Åkerman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Egon Örtendal notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Hällingsjö FK's Karl-Åke Andreasson. Karl-Åke Andreasson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Karl-Åke Andreasson managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Lekeryd's Olle Rosén fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Egon Örtendal had several of the Hällingsjö FK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 89 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Karl-Åke Andreasson as he didn't even see the shot coming.
