Barskål's supporters rose to their feet, but Måns Alkvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. August Gadd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th match minute, Edsbyn FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Abrahamsson to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Barskål's Andreas Strömbom in action when he in the 20th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 23rd minute, Staffan Forssell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the game, Barskål's Måns Alkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. August Gadd made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. August Gadd came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Barskål's Måns Alkvist. But to his dismay, Måns Alkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Georg Kielberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 44 played minutes, Barskål's Andreas Strömbom shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper August Gadd came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barskål reached it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Måns Alkvist stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Skålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. August Gadd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Barskål getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Georg Kielberg hit a great ball. August Gadd made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Georg Kielberg sent off a good shot on target. Måns Alkvists short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got August Gadd to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Georg Kielberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Georg Kielberg fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barskål's protests and gave Georg Kielberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Barskål was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Kielberg to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Edsbyn FK's zone, Måns Alkvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. August Gadd came out of the goal and Måns Alkvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Georg Kielberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
