An unexpectedly hard shot by Mårten Arvidsson in the 3rd minute of play forced Bruzaholm IF's goalkeeper Alexander Nordal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Felix Gullesson fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bruzaholm IF's protests and gave Felix Gullesson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Malmköping booed when Bruzaholm IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Gullesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Östen Tingberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Magne Drewitz made a huge save. In the 17th minute, Christer Mårtensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexander Nordal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mårten Arvidsson in the 25th minute of play. Mårten Arvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Nordal having to interfere. Malcolm Kellman kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Alexander Nordal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alf Larsson in the 29th minute of play. Östen Tingberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Magne Drewitz made a huge save. Sakarias Kämpe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magne Drewitz having to make a save. Magne Drewitz made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Östen Tingberg sent off a good shot on target. Jörgen Lundblad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Magne Drewitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakarias Kämpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mårten Arvidsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Östen Tingberg in the 55th minute of play forced Malmköping's goalkeeper Magne Drewitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Lundblad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Magne Drewitz having to make a save. Jörgen Lundblad sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alf Larsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sakarias Kämpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Drewitz having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Malmköping was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frans Beckeman to maneuver through the defense. Alexander Nordal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Bark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Östen Tingberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Drewitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Östen Tingberg struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Magne Drewitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bruzaholm IF. Magne Drewitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jörgen Lundblad, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Östen Tingberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
