An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Anselius in the 7th minute of play forced BK Dumle's goalkeeper Tord Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th play minute Georg Anselius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Tord Offendahl. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, BK Dumle's goalkeeper Tord Offendahl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konrad Henryk. After 12 played minutes BK Dumle got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Wenerdahl. Kurt Wenerdahl hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, BK Dumle's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Tomasson came free, but Tord Offendahl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Georg Anselius dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tord Offendahl, 2-0. In the 30th minute Claes Tomasson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tord Offendahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Kling in the 32nd minute of play forced BK Dumle's goalkeeper Tord Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Arne Magnusson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sivert Gadd was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 39 minutes of play, BK Dumle's Kurt Wenerdahl made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sivert Gadd was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 42 minutes, Kurt Wenerdahl made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tottenham Hotspurs's Sivert Gadd tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Tottenham Hotspurs defense, Arne Magnusson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sivert Gadd. The Tottenham Hotspurs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sivert Gadd should have stopped the shot. After the first half BK Dumle were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Georg Anselius was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, BK Dumle's Sivert Gadd threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arne Magnusson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in BK Dumle's zone, Konrad Henryk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tord Offendahl came out of the goal and Konrad Henryk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claes Tomasson in the 62nd minute of play forced BK Dumle's goalkeeper Tord Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sivert Gadd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Magnusson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arne Magnusson in the 68th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Sivert Gadd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kurt Wenerdahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Sivert Gadd made a huge save. In the 74th minute, BK Dumle's Arne Magnusson dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-4. In the 77th match minute, BK Dumle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Bäckström to maneuver through the defense. BK Dumle's attentive Ingmar Deckbergh managed to snatch the ball when John Arenstedt made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Sivert Gadd made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kurt Wenerdahl in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the BK Dumle defense, Claes Tomasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tord Offendahl. The BK Dumle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tord Offendahl should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Georg Anselius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tord Offendahl was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 91st minute, BK Dumle's Stig-Åke Walmarsson seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stig-Åke Walmarsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BK Dumle protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stig-Åke Walmarsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for BK Dumle! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Tottenham Hotspurs. Claes Tomasson stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Tord Offendahl. 4-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Anselius in the 97th minute of play forced BK Dumle's goalkeeper Tord Offendahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to BK Dumle getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Gustav Bäckström hit a great ball. Tottenham Hotspurs's Claes Tomasson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 99th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BK Dumle. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
