Radowit Bejrut was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Fiskebäckskil IFK's Radowit Bejrut got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sven-Olof Mogren struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sixten Larsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lugna Örebro FC. Sixten Larsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uno Johnsson in the 19th minute. Joacim Brander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Oskar Örtendahl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Victor Isaksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lugna Örebro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fiskebäckskil IFK the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Lugna Örebro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Isaksson to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Fiskebäckskil IFK's Joacim Brander sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oskar Örtendahl narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fiskebäckskil IFK's attentive Knut Brandt managed to snatch the ball when Victor Isaksson made a throw-in in the 31st minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Sven-Olof Mogren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lugna Örebro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Olof Mogren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixten Larsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fiskebäckskil IFK's goalkeeper Sixten Larsson , but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A sloppy throw-in by Victor Isaksson in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fiskebäckskil IFK's Knut Brandt. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Sixten Larsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Joacim Brander made the kick off in the second half. A hard, long distance shot from David Gustavsson flew over the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Alexander Barck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lugna Örebro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Barck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Sven-Olof Mogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixten Larsson was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 80th minute, Alexander Barck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Börje Sillén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixten Larsson came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Lugna Örebro FC's Sven-Olof Mogren. But to his dismay, Sven-Olof Mogren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0.
