Grundsund's Casper Tinglöf got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd match minute, Grundsund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Söderquist to maneuver through the defense. If Hans Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Despite this Joseph Björklund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 66th minute of the match, Hampus Svanér tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Agne Skark saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joseph Björklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Lindqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Hans Lindqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. One of Grundsund:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dingtuna Bois:s goal. The goalkeeper, Agne Skark, was totally fooled by Dingtuna Bois's Olle Hermansson, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Joseph Björklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, Pär Östensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dingtuna Bois and the Grundsund players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Dingtuna Bois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pär Östensson to maneuver through the defense.
