Spectators: 7275 (Terracing: 5458, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eskil Wennerqvist got the match started through his kick off. 12 minutes into the match, Visby Kickers's goal looked a bit too open when Algot Blom came free, but Gottfrid Bröms reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Eskil Wennerqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Josef Stålberg. mammoth-team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eskil Wennerqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. mammoth-team's Nils Stensson got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in mammoth-team's zone, Torsten Strand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josef Stålberg came out of the goal and Torsten Strand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 24 minutes into the game, Hans Palmkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Visby Kickers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave mammoth-team the free kick. In the 24th minute, Hans Palmkvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josef Stålberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskil Wennerqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Visby Kickers booed when mammoth-team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Nyström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Visby Kickers's goalkeeper Gottfrid Bröms had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Stensson. If Algot Blom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gottfrid Bröms made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Algot Blom in the 38th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Robin Wallin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Visby Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Wallin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josef Stålberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josef Stålberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torsten Strand's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the game, Pär Nyström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gottfrid Bröms. Pär Nyström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Algot Blom was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, mammoth-team's Josef Stålberg got control of the ball when Torsten Strand tried to sneak it across the goal line. Josef Stålberg made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Torsten Strand sent off a good shot on target. 62 minutes into the match, Pär Nyström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gottfrid Bröms. Visby Kickers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pär Nyström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Nils Stensson took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gottfrid Bröms. Gottfrid Bröms dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Algot Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 93 minutes, Eskil Wennerqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Visby Kickers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eskil Wennerqvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Torsten Strand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Josef Stålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
