Edward Modig charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edward Modig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Stig O's Edward Modig got a free kick in the 10th minute. FC Stig O's Jonny Håning proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC Stig O from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Abraham Foley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Stig O fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to FC Stig O getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Michael Mårtensson hit a great ball. Skutskär FK's Filip Ferent got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anders Lindström hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. FC Stig O's Nicklas Lidström couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Skutskär FK. In the 29th minute Abraham Foley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Ljungberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Skutskär FK's Kjell Ljungberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Morros in the 31st minute of play. Jonny Håning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Ferent in the 32nd minute of the match. Filip Ferents short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Jonny Håning to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 36 minutes into the game, FC Stig O's Abraham Foley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kjell Ljungberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Cleto Morros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleto Morros scored 0-4 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kjell Ljungberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half FC Stig O were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abraham Foley made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, FC Stig O was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gunnar Kjellbom to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Foley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kjell Ljungberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Abraham Foley slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 62nd minute. Edmund Bolander took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell Ljungberg. Kjell Ljungberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abraham Foley in the 75th minute of play forced Skutskär FK's goalkeeper Kjell Ljungberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Blanco Andueza came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Skutskär FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Blanco Andueza couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the game, Abraham Foley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kjell Ljungberg. Abraham Foley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 91st match minute, FC Stig O was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Modig to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Foley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Kjell Ljungberg made a huge save. When the match was over FC Stig O could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Skutskär FK throughout the match.
