FENERBAHCE SK's Linus Håkansson got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 11 minutes into the game, Henry Boström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Torekov FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FENERBAHCE SK the free kick. Henry Boström hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jan Lägdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Håkansson in the 13th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Linus Håkansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jan Lägdin. Torekov FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Linus Håkansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. FENERBAHCE SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Henry Boström scored to the left of an out of position Sigvard Bengtsson, making the score, 1-2. 26 minutes into the match, Torekov FK's goal looked a bit too open when Patrik Siggesson came free, but Jan Lägdin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Torekov FK defense, Patrik Siggesson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jan Lägdin. The Torekov FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jan Lägdin should have stopped the shot. Casper Malm hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Linus Håkansson came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the FENERBAHCE SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Linus Håkansson couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute, Linus Håkansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Torekov FK's Casper Malm slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sigvard Bengtsson. That made the score 2-4 after 38 minutes of play. After 42 played minutes, FENERBAHCE SK's Timmy Ingvall shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Lägdin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FENERBAHCE SK reached it. Patrik Siggesson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Siggesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Lägdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patrik Siggesson was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benislav Limonov in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Lägdin saved Torekov FK from getting behind. Patrik Siggesson didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-5 via right post in the game's 56th minute. FENERBAHCE SK's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Patrik Siggesson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Jan Lägdin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Patrik Siggesson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jan Lägdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute Stig-Åke Sjögren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, FENERBAHCE SK's Linus Håkansson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jan Lägdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the last second Jan Lägdin throw himself and got hold of the ball when Linus Håkansson in the 70thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Stig-Åke Sjögren kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Linus Håkansson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Patrik Siggesson took a quick shot and it went in 2-6 without a chance for Jan Lägdin to make any attempt to save it. Patrik Siggesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jan Lägdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan Lägdin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Linus Håkansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Torekov FK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Stig-Åke Sjögren hit a great ball. Sigvard Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Malm in the 91st minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, FENERBAHCE SK's goal looked a bit too open when Stig-Åke Sjögren came free, but Sigvard Bengtsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FENERBAHCE SK booed when Torekov FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casper Malm didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FENERBAHCE SK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
