Olof Fågel came out of the goal and Linus Håkansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Linus Håkansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 21 minutes into the match, Linus Håkansson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olof Fågel. Piemonte Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Linus Håkansson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Patrik Siggesson sped through Piemonte Football Club's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Olof Fågel. Olof Fågel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Siggesson in the 43rd minute of the match. Sigvard Bengtsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Piemonte Football Club defense, Patrik Siggesson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olof Fågel. The Piemonte Football Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olof Fågel should have stopped the shot.

Sigvard Bengtsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Lindgren in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Linus Håkansson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piemonte Football Club's Olof Fågel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patrik Siggesson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 58thth minute, Olof Fågel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 60 minutes into the match, Piemonte Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Linus Håkansson came free, but Olof Fågel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sigvard Bengtsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Jespersson in the 78th minute of play. FENERBAHCE SK's Patrik Siggesson managed to work through Piemonte Football Club's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Patrik Siggesson dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Olof Fågel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börge Klemensson in the 84th minute. Linus Håkansson was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. FENERBAHCE SK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Piemonte Football Club's Olof Fågel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Håkansson in the 89th minute of play. Patrik Siggesson came free with the goalkeeper in the 91st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Olof Fågel could save by the left post. In the 93rd minute Marc Lindqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sigvard Bengtsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 94 minutes into the game, when Gilmar Gaspar put in a rough tackle. Gilmar Gaspar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute of the match Kjell-Arne Åman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigvard Bengtsson skillfully saved the ball.
