Finnvedens FF's Alex Åberg couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Phillies Juniors FC. Ulrik Joensson's late challenge caught a Phillies Juniors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulrik Joensson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, Finnvedens FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrik Joensson to maneuver through the defense. Phillies Juniors FC's Ulf Sundén got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Charles Lundqvist elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 14th minute Tobias Stenquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Tobias Stenquist notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Finnvedens FF's Max Bergman. Max Bergman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Tobias Stenquist came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Phillies Juniors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tobias Stenquist couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Ulf Sundén hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hampus Waller received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Max Bergman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tobias Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Tobias Stenquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Bergman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Phillies Juniors FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ulrik Joensson made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Finnvedens FF's zone, Hampus Waller stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Max Bergman came out of the goal and Hampus Waller tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Stenquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Bergman having to interfere. Jim Vallengren's late challenge caught a Phillies Juniors FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jim Vallengren helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Finnvedens FF's Jim Vallengren got a free kick in the 57th minute. Per-Erik Nykvist hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Úlfgeir Sigmarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Åke Vallengren struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Max Bergman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phillies Juniors FC. Tobias Stenquist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Max Bergman made a huge save. John Karlsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jim Vallengren in the 76th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Ulrik Joensson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Finnvedens FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Svante Nykvist hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. If Tobias Stenquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Phillies Juniors FC's Cristiano Farina got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ulrik Joensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phillies Juniors FC's John Karlsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle sounded Phillies Juniors FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Finnvedens FF.
