Lomma's Alexander Beck suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 21 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pär Strandberg during the 21st minute. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Lomma were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cristoforo Micucci made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Björn Wallin took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Joakim Björkdal to make any attempt to save it. The long shot by Linus Lindberg in the 62nd minute really tested Joakim Björkdal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Joakim Björkdal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Wallin in the 66th minute of the match. Djurgårdens IF were furious when Lucas Westerberg was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Peder Nyberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Sikström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
