Rutger Örtendal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robert Johnsson. Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alfons Gustafsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sergio Ekain came out and tried to block the shot, but Alfons Gustafsson slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Valter Pååk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by 范凡建 in the 25th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Robert Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lars Sillén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by 范凡建 in the 40th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Robert Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Sollentuna IK's 范凡建 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Johnsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 49th minute Alfons Gustafsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Ekain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Tottenham Hotspurs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when 范凡建 scored to the left of an out of position Robert Johnsson, making the score, 2-2. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sollentuna IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Tottenham Hotspurs a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by David Harman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Sollentuna IK's Sergio Ekain. 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Persson in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Johnsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tottenham Hotspurs's Robert Johnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harry Abrahamsson in the 89th minute of play. The supporters of Sollentuna IK booed when Tottenham Hotspurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergio Ekain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Gustafsson in the 98th minute of play. Tottenham Hotspurs walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
