The Örby Athletic fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Örby Athletic's Börge Fors looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Christian Biörnberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christian Billing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Biörnberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Folke Mickelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Säv in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Örby Athletic booed when Bodafors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thor Sjögren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Biörnberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Billing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Christian Biörnberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Jens Ekgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bodafors's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens Ekgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Billing breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84thth minute of the game Christian Biörnberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Örby Athletic's Christian Billing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
