Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jonas Forssell took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Jaak p'Bitek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Öfvre IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaak p'Bitek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jimmy Gallin's late challenge caught a AIK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Gallin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Öfvre IF's Jimmy Gallin got a free kick in the 6th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Öfvre IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Brun came free, but Eugenio De Sanctis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonas Forssell who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 13thth minute tested the skills of Per-Erik Lövkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Öfvre IF's D.J. King got a free kick in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Forssell in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Per-Erik Lövkvist saved AIK from getting behind. Jonas Forssell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Erik Lövkvist having to interfere. Öfvre IF's Eugenio De Sanctis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Brun in the 28th minute of play. Per-Erik Lövkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonas Forssell's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Henry Ahlgren charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Ahlgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st minute, Henry Ahlgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Forssell in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Erik Lövkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 36th minute, Zygmunt Zdanowicz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaak p'Bitek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Per-Erik Lövkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Öfvre IF's goalkeeper Eugenio De Sanctis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Mats Brun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Jonas Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mats Brun to make the kick off. When Jonas Forssell fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Öfvre IF's protests and gave Jonas Forssell a yellow card for diving instead. Jonas Forssell kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Jonas Forssell took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Per-Erik Lövkvist. Per-Erik Lövkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Per-Erik Lövkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Forssell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AIK's Per-Erik Lövkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Forssell in the 63rd minute of play. Jaak p'Bitek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Per-Erik Lövkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Öfvre IF's Ulf Lindholm got a free kick in the 69th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Forssell in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Erik Lövkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Forssell in the 76th minute of play forced AIK's goalkeeper Per-Erik Lövkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Peder Blomqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Jaak p'Bitek notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of AIK's Per-Erik Lövkvist. Per-Erik Lövkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jonas Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Jonas Forssell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Öfvre IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Forssell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Erik Lövkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
