Spectators: 7185 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 20) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl-Michael Pålsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Norrorts AIK's attentive Emil Hegg managed to snatch the ball when Ingmar Benett made a throw-in in the 5th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, FC Alby's goalkeeper Henrik Bjurström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Pålsson. With an all-out effort, Norrorts AIK's Henrik Bjurström threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jörn Byström, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 12 minutes into the match, Norrorts AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Andberg came free, but Göran Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joar Lindberg's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Henrik Bjurström firmly grabbed it by the left post. FC Alby's Henrik Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörn Byström in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Norrorts AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Lukas Kullander came free, but Göran Levander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Emil Hegg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Henrik Bjurström. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Norrorts AIK's Jörn Byström slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henrik Bjurström. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Henrik Bjurström made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Karl-Michael Pålsson sent off a good shot on target. FC Alby's Roland Karlberg got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Göran Levander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Karlberg in the 32nd minute of play. Joar Lindberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrik Bjurström having to make a save. The supporters of Norrorts AIK booed when FC Alby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thor Gullesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jörn Byström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Henrik Bjurström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Alby's Henrik Bjurström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Pålsson in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Jörn Byström recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Henrik Bjurström. Jörn Byström showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. If Karl-Michael Pålsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henrik Bjurström acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Michael Arvidsson. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

If Jörn Byström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Jörn Byström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrik Bjurström was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. 65 minutes into the game, Norrorts AIK's Jörn Byström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrik Bjurström made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Henrik Bjurström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Michael Pålsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Lukas Kullander in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Göran Levander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jörn Byström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrik Bjurström having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Norrorts AIK got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Låsberg. In the 72nd minute, a hard, long distance shot from Johannes Uggla hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Lukas Kullander might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Göran Levander. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lukas Kullander ran back to his position shaking his head. Joar Lindberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute of the match, Lukas Kullander got a very nice opportunity to score, but Göran Levander was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Norrorts AIK fully deserved thier win.
