Birger Hedvall kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Karl Lundgren shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pål Lundberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Åke Brodin scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pål Lundberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. David-Pascal Böckels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Yngve Lundström made a huge save. Hans-Jürgen Hahnemann struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Yngve Lundström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BARCALONA. Yngve Lundström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of David-Pascal Böckels's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell David-Pascal Böckels to make the kick off. Pål Lundberg was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Vilgot Söderkvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. The FC Mance players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
